iQ - Notes for Authors
Notes for Authors

Agora is an information service and platform. This is why we look forward to receiving and publishing articles from expert authors. The "Important Questions" section presents topics of current interest or work, data, results and findings, and information from the field of research evaluation in a generally accessible overview. Please send us your manuscripts for publication in online iQ section.

Our iQ editorial team reviews all incoming articles and may possibly return them to the author for revision and reworking. The author gets quick feedback on whether the article (possibly with modifications) qualifies for publication. As soon as the article has been agreed with the author, it will be published on the iQ website.
We would be really grateful if you could observe the following points when writing articles:

  • Languages of publication are German and English.
  • The manuscript should follow the new German spelling rules and must be no longer than 5 printed pages.
  • Please send any images or graphics as separate files in Excel format and mark the place in the text (near) where the graphic should appear. We will do the layout work.
  • Bibliographical references and links are integrated into the text (without first names). Authors listed in parenthetical references are separated by semicolons. The iFQ follows the style guide used by the APA Publication Manual Crib Sheet: http://www.sv.uit.no/seksjon/psyk/apacrib.htm
  • Copyrights and Licences: Authors must confirm and warrant that they hold unrestricted copyright to the article in question, including any picture reproductions, drawings, plans, maps and charts, sketches and tables, and that the article does not contravene any third-party rights.

We would also welcome some brief personal details, plus information on your special field, academic/career background, etc.
Please bear in mind that all articles are published online, which means they are largely read from a monitor. A reader-friendly design with shorter paragraphs and subheadings would be greatly appreciated.
Please send your manuscript(s) to the iQ editorial team at the following address: presse@forschungsinfo.de. We guarantee the long-term availability of the texts so that older texts, too, can be accessed at any time.
