Based on the analysis of publications, patents and authors as well as under consideration of the so called “Foresight” studies the Freie Universität Berlin (FU), Humboldt Universität (HU) and Technische Universität (TU) Berlin are compiling a characterization of Berlin as a center of science and research. The aim of this study is to identify strengths and topics with research potential. iFQ will analyze the publications of Berlin’s research organizations in order to get an overview of their activities and their main focuses.
