Prof. Dr. Fred Y. Ye(Visiting Professor) Fred Y. Ye (Ye, Ying) studied chemistry (B.S.) and library and information science (M.A) and earned a PhD in Chinese philosophy. From September 2000 to September 2001, Fred Y. Ye was a Fulbright research scholar at both the University of Arizona and the University of Michigan in USA. Fred Y. Ye is currently holding a professorship for Library and Information science at Zhejiang University, Hangzhou CHINA. From July to October 2010, Fred Y. Ye is a visiting professor at the Institute for Research Information and Quality Assurance (iFQ) and at the Humboldt University Berlin.
