Dr. Jasmin Schmitz (Scientific Assistant)
studied English Philology, Information Sciences and Sociology at the Heinrich-Heine University in Duesseldorf, where she also did her PhD in Information Sciences in the field of “Patent Informetrics”. At the University of Duesseldorf she worked as scientific assistant and was appointed assistant lecturer. Jasmin Schmitz also worked as a freelance database trainer. She is part of the iFQ-Team since July 2010. At the iFQ she is responsible for the scientific and technical coordination of the Competence Center for Bibliometrics.

Research interests: Bibliometrics, Informetrics, Scientometrics, Industrial Property Rights, Information Retrieval
