Prof. Dr. Michael Meuser
studied Educational Science, Sociology and Political Science at the University of Bonn, where he also did his PhD. He did his postdoctoral lecture qualification (Habilitation) at the University of Bremen. Following his studies, he was working at the Educational Science College Koblenz (today: University of Koblenz-Landau) as well as at Universities of Bremen, Dortmund, Siegen, Essen, Basel and St. Gallen. He holds a chair for "Soziologie der Geschlechterverhältnisse" at the institut for sociology at the University of Dortmund. He specialises in methods of qualitative social research, sociology of gender, political sociology and science studies. His co-operation with iFQ involves qualitative research methods.
