Dr. René Krempkow (Scientific Assistant)
studied Sociology, Communication Science and Psychology at the Dresden University of Technology (TU Dresden). Following his studies, he was employed at the TU Dresden in projects for teaching evaluation and graduate surveys from 1998 to 2006, where he also developed the first Report on Higher Education in Saxony and did his PhD on "Performance and Quality Assessment and Incentive Systems at Higher Education Institutions" in 2005. Accompanying his employment at the TU Dresden, he worked free-lance as a consultant in the area of performance and quality evaluation at Higher Education Institutions. After obtaining his doctorate, he continued his work and research on higher education both at the Wittenberg Institute for Research on Higher Education and the University of Freiburg. René Krempkow joined the iFQ-team in August 2009.
