Prof. Dr. Stefan Hornbostel (Director of the iFQ) studied Social Sciences at the University of Göttingen. He did his PhD at the Freie Universität Berlin. After his studies, he worked at the Universities of Kassel, Cologne, Jena and Dortmund, as well as at the Center of Higher Education Developement (CHE – Centrum für Hochschulentwicklung). Stefan Hornbostel is Professor at the Department of Social Sciences (Science Studies) at the Humboldt University of Berlin.
